(correspondent: cheng song) recently, the 30th anniversary of the founding of china association of fluorine & silicone industry and china fluorine & silicone development conference took place at beijing international convention center. it drew an audience of more than 300, including senior officials from the department of raw materials industry of the ministry of industry and information technology, china petroleum and chemical industry federation, china association of fluorine & silicone industry and related industry associations as well as business insiders. party secretary and general manager li jia of zhonghao chenguang research institute of chemical industry was also invited to the meeting.
enterprises and individuals with outstanding contributions to the fluorine & silicone industry were acknowledged. a total of 59 enterprises were awarded such honorary titles as leading enterprise of chinese fluorine & silicone industry, model enterprise, and outstanding enterprise.
zhonghao chenguang research institute of chemical industry was awarded the title "leading enterprise of chinese fluorine & silicone industry" and the prize for progress in science and technology in the chinese fluorine & silicone industry.
its president zhang zaili who was the pioneer in the commercialization of its research findings won the lifetime achievement award, its general manager li jia won the achievement award, zeng benzhong the outstanding contribution award, and four other employees including chen liyi the rising star award.
