(correspondent: zhu shuo) on march 28, symposium on near-space exploration balloon technology was held in zhuzhou research & design institute (hereafter called zhuzhou institute). present at the meeting were related leaders and technicians from 10 units including battlefield environmental support bureau affiliated to joint staff department and aerospace-related units.
at the meeting, sun jianhua, general manager of zhuzhou institute, briefed about the company. he also said that zhuzhou institute, the only institute of national latex industry and one of procurement suppliers of the world meteorological organization, will give full play to its own technological advantages and step up efforts to develop high-tech near-space products, in a bid to better meet needs of national defense and meteorological services. technicians on behalf of zhuzhou institute detailed over how to adapt to near-space climatic conditions and environmental factors, improve technical services for users, and further enhance the quality of business operations. during the meeting period, experts visited production sites and the national quality supervision&testing center of latex products and held discussions on related technologies.
related leaders from the battlefield environmental support bureau fully affirmed the quality of products manufactured by zhuzhou institute and spoke highly of its long-term support and contributions to national defense and meteorological services.
