(correspondents: zhang yunzhong, rao guijiu) liming institute has recently got the good news that its staff responsible for the hydrogen peroxide technology transfer has completed the test run of shuangyang linhua’s phase ii project which was upgraded with the hydrogen peroxide technology to produce 70,000 tons/year (27.5%), and the water test and equipment check of the 240,000 ton/year (30%) hydrogen peroxide unit of taiyuan new chemical materials company under yangquan coal industry (group) co., ltd.
liming institute sent four technicians to guide the upgrade of the phase ii project of shuangyang linhua to increase its production capacity from 50,000 tons/year to 70,000 tons/year (27.%). it’s the company’s second unit adopting liming institute’s “ternary solvent high-performance palladium catalyst” technology and increases its production capacity with little change to the original size. during the test run, technicians worked two shifts a day around the clock to monitor the operation and solve any problem that rose immediately. the unit managed to produce qualified products after only 20 hours of operation.
under the guidance and with the help of liming institute’s technicians, taiyuan new chemical materials completed the water test of its 240,000 tons/year (30%) hydrogen peroxide unit and checked and confirmed the single-unit equipment. the latter is the prerequisite for the unit to be officially put into service. technicians followed strictly relevant technical requirements, and checked carefully one by one the materials, cleanness and interior parts of key equipment to make sure that there’s no dirt left inside, the interior parts are integrate and there’s no safety issues with the equipment, paving the way for the official operation of the equipment.
it’s learnt that shuangyang linhua is the first to adopt liming institute’s latest hydrogen peroxide technology and taiyuan new chemical materials’ 240,000 tons/year (30%) hydrogen peroxide unit is so far china’s biggest single unit of its kind using chinese technology. as the two units are put into operation, they prove the reliability of liming institute’s latest hydrogen peroxide technology and build up its reputation in the market.
