(correspondent: zhang yunzhong) days ago, henan federation of trade unions, henan commission of industry and information technology, henan department of science and technology and henan department of finance jointly awarded top units and individuals in the 12th five-year plan technological innovation contest in 2015. the liming research institute of chemical industry's project "development and application of new-type polyurethane materials for automobiles and aircrafts" was rated as one of the "top 10 technological innovations by workers in henan".
seizing opportunities presented by the rapid growth of the polyurethane industry thanks to the state policy in favor of the automobile and aircraft industry, liming institute makes the development of new polyurethane materials for automobiles and aircrafts its priority of business development. in recent years, liming institute has increased its r&d input in light of the market reality, developed new-type polyurethane materials that are light, green, energy efficient and flame retardant with outstanding mechanical properties and competitive edge, put them into industrialized production rapidly and widely applied them to automobile and aircraft manufacturing. so far it has built a production line with the annual capacity of 20,000 tons of polyurethane mixed components and registered revenue of rmb 228.5 million in 2015.
it's learnt that liming institute is a pioneer in the chinese polyurethane industry, committed to the r&d, production and technology radiation of rigid foam, flexible foam, elastomers, composite materials, adhesives, and sealants, and is awarded the title "leading enterprise in the polyurethane industry in the past two decades". it has claimed nearly 100 technological achievements, over 20 of which are winners of provincial and ministerial awards and above. its products are widely used in the automobile, construction, home furnishing, sport, clothing and printing businesses.
it's learnt that the project "development and application of new-type polyurethane materials for automobiles and aircrafts" is the only project in luoyang and the only chemical project in henan among "top 10 technological innovations by workers in henan".
